Auction To Benefit Homeless Pets - News Story - WCYB Tri Cities

POSTED: 3:29 pm EDT March 22, 2012Happy Tails Animal Rescue of Washington County, Virginia will hold its biggest fundraiser of the year next Friday.There will be an auction Friday, March 30th beginning at 6:00 p.m.Items can be previewed from 4 pm to 6pm.The auction will be held at Hayter's Auction Gallery, 1029 Hillman Highway, Abingdon, VA 24210 (www.hayterauction.com).Telephone: 276-628-7365All items have been donated and all funds will go to Happy Tails for the care of the animals.Happy Tails Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization created to help the animals in Washington County.In the last 9 years, more than 7,200 dogs/puppies and cat/kittens have been saved from euthanasia at the shelter or taken in after being found abandoned in dumpsters and on the side of roads.
